The Day of Caring - presented by Alcoa - is a Community-wide day of hands-on volunteering in which United Way connects volunteers (businesses, corporations, union groups, donors) with local non-profit organizations to work on various projects that would not otherwise be completed. Volunteer teams and community members will set out to complete half-day or full-day projects from 9:00am - 11:30am, 12:30pm - 3:30pm or 9:00am - 3:30pm. Projects can be designed as a full day or half day.
